2017 Feed the Wolf

Welcome

The name for Feed the Wolf was inspired by the great movie line in Miracle. “Why? Because the legs feed the wolf, gentlemen.” We have developed this program to focus on the legs… to inspire kids to take pride in their legs, their stride, their strength and their speed. Each day of training will be a circuit that will include but not limited to slideboards,russian boxes, sprints, agility ladders, plyo boxes, sleds, and stairs. Then you will be able to select 8 treadmill sessions over the run of the program. In our view, you can’t ever be too good of a skater and you can’t be too fast or too explosive. The higher the level, the stronger a skater must be. This program is only offered to players in the LumberJack League. Sign up now while there is enough room.

FEED THE WOLF

Program Guidelines: 

  • Spring Begins: Monday, April 3rd - May 31st (Not available the weekend of Memorial Day)
  • Fall Begins: Monday, July 31st - ends Wednesday, September 21st, 2017.
  • Available only to players in the Spring/Fall LumberJack League
  • 8 Treadmill sessions (Available only during Spring/Fall)
  • 3 non treadmill training sessions per week available 
  • LY membership to work on their own (Available for the above dates) 
  • Program runs during the league
  • COST: $350

Program:

  • The workouts will be designed around using slide boards, Russian boxes, ploy boxes and turf. 
  • Skaters that participate regularly will become faster and stronger skaters! Guaranteed! 
  • Treadmill workouts will focus on posture, push and stride 
  • Off ice workout will build core, leg muscle, explosion, and have a cardio component. 

Attending Feed the Wolf Sessions & Claiming Dibs for Treadmill

After registration, your Ngin account will be applied Dibs Credits to claim the days you want to utilize your Treadmill sessions.  Check the "Feed the Wolf " Treadmill Training Schedule to view available days and times.  The available slots are on Tuesday and Thursday nights (6:00; 7:00, and 8:00) and Saturday afternoons (12:00; 1:00; and 2:00).

The non treadmill Feed the Wolf sessions do not require you to sign up.  Instead, you simply arrive at the LumberYard at the scheduled times and trainers will be available.  You can come as often as you would like but we strongly recommend coming at least twice per week.  The sessions are on Monday and Wednesday nights (6:00; 7:00; and 8:00) and Saturday mornings (9:00; 10:00; and 11:00).

Off Ice Information

Off ice sessions are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at the above times listed. We strongly recommend you come to at least two days per week. No need to sign up for a particular time, just show up.

Treadmill Information:

Treadmill sessions are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at the following times. You need to select which Dibs sessions and times you want to sign up for on our website.
